Hunan Posts & Telecommunications Planning and Designing Institute Co., Ltd. won the EPC general contracting project for the mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering of Buildings D05 and D06 in Area D of the China Mobile (Ningxia Zhongwei) Data Center with a bid of 2.3147348 billion yuan. The procurement scope covers the design, equipment, auxiliary materials, and integrated construction for supporting M&E systems, including HVAC, power supply, intelligent building systems, electrical lighting, fire protection, data hall engineering and interior decoration, as well as diesel generator steel platforms and fuel tank systems.
The disclosure of the M&E EPC bid amount and project scope at the Ningxia Zhongwei node provides insight into the procurement scale of telecom operators' backbone computing infrastructure.
