China Mobile plans computing power investments of over 100 billion yuan by 2027, targeting 7 intelligent computing parks

At the 2026 Mobile Network Conference, China Mobile announced plans for total procurement exceeding 500 billion yuan in 2027, including over 100 billion yuan dedicated to computing power to drive consecutive doublings of its intelligent computing capacity over the next two years. The company is deploying multiple hyperscale computing clusters, breaking ground on 3 new gigawatt-level computing parks this year and another 2 next year, bringing its total to 7. China Mobile also plans device procurement and sales of over 100 billion yuan in 2027, aiming to sell more than 100 million devices.
