Perplexity Launches Workplace AI Agent 'Teammates'

Perplexity has launched Teammates, persistent AI agents designed for workplace environments capable of taking on multiple roles and collaborating on large-scale tasks within a workspace. Integrated with Perplexity Computer for deploying agents on local machines, the feature allows users to delegate distinct tasks simultaneously and track interactions via dedicated in-app threads or Slack, requiring a subscription to the $200-per-month Max plan.
