Tencent launches large language model Hy4, introducing vision understanding and computer-use capabilities

Tencent has officially launched its next-generation large language model, Tencent Hy4, introducing visual understanding and computer-use capabilities for the first time, with plans to open-source the model weights and system card within days. The model supports graphical user interface (GUI) interactions and long-horizon task planning, and features specialized optimizations for financial research, front-end development, and game development (such as Unreal Engine, Unity, and Godot). In internal evaluations, its hallucination rate dropped from 12.95% in Hy4 Preview to 7.2%.
