Open-source mobile framework Shipvo released: Integrates React Native OTA updates with an MCP-driven emulator
Show HN: Shipvo – open-source RN OTA updates and an AI-drivable simulator
The open-source project Shipvo has officially launched, delivering a signed over-the-air (OTA) update solution for React Native apps alongside a mobile emulator designed for AI agent interaction. Powered by @shipvo/mcp, AI agents can leverage a headless emulator to inspect accessibility trees, take screenshots, and perform actions such as clicks, swipes, and back navigation, while also supporting simulated native device APIs including the camera, biometrics, and payments.
By combining a mobile hot-update runtime with native capability emulation, the project enables AI agents to directly interface with and control mobile app UIs via standard protocols.
