Meta acquires AI coding startup Conductor
Meta has confirmed its acquisition of AI coding startup Conductor, further expanding its footprint in agentic software development tools. Conductor enables multiple AI agents to collaborate on code across parallel workspaces. Its core functionality will remain available until early next year, but its cloud services will shut down and delete user data on November 20. Conductor founder Charlie Holtz noted that the team is designing next-generation interfaces, adding that the platform previously relied primarily on underlying models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
Meta bolsters its developer tooling by acquiring the multi-agent coding team, while Conductor's existing cloud service will be shut down and its data deleted on November 20.
